It was great to see a whole host of licensing partners launching their latest Smiley product lines throughout the 8 halls of SIAL 2016.
With a variety of Smiley‘s market leading licensees on their own stands throughout the show, it was great to see their exciting brand activations and enjoy delicious tastings, as Smiley’s partners shone out amongst the thousands of exhibitors.
Giraudi set best practices for supporting Smiley at the show, with a themed street food Smiley van spreading happiness outside their stand, whilst their chef sevred up tasty 3D Smiley treats through their fully functioning kitchen, which operated in situ with their sales teams.
It’s been an awesome year for one of our leading food licensees, who have launched new listings into Casino, Leader Price, Systeme U and Leclerc for their existing SmileyWorld frozen range and also moved in to fresh Smiley meats including; beef and veal burgers, as well as chicken nuggets.
One of France’s most famous biscutieers L’abbaye, also launched their new line of ‘Taste Happiness’ biscuits, which includes; Chocolate Smiley shortbread biscuits in 120g bags, and smaller 75g bags of colourful Smiley minis that come in a delicious mix of flavours such as cola, raspberry, and apple. L’abbaye also showcased a range of Smiley’s anniversary POS and even dedicated an entire glass unit to showcasing their new Smiley products.
Out of all the booths at SIAL, we couldn’t resist spending some time at Compagnie Pattisiere’s stand. The French pastry experts were seducing the crowds at SIAL with a mouth-watering display of tasty tartlets and delicious cakes.
Their Smiley tartlets were prominently exhibited and against a backdrop of Smiley POS and even a ‘Taste Happiness’ pull up banner! We were delighted to see the full range of tartlets on show in a range of tasty flavours including; Chocolate, caramel, raspberry, and hazelnut.
Fruselva were also launching their new cold pressed Smiley Smoothie on their own stand at the show, as were L’abeile showcasing Smiley Fruity.
