We will not only be showcasing our fast growing ‘Taste Happiness’ concept, but also launching brand new yummy beverage products to the trade. To support this awesome campaign, Smiley will be hosting 2 stands at this hugely important food show in order to further highlight the special licensing opportunities that Smiley continues to create within the food industry today!
Today Smiley can boast 17 licensees globally for its branded range of food products, which cover a broad range of chilled food, drinks, snacks, biscuits, and tartlets – even frozen food and sweet treats! This is pretty darn cool when you consider that back at SIAL 2014 we only had 7 licensees!
Smiley continues to enjoy great momentum in the food industry today, with a growth in sales at retail of 58% since 2014, taking the brands annual business at retail in the last calendar year to nearly €14.5 million. This success is largely down to the fact that our bright Smiley icons (and the Smiley name) are eye-catching and instantly recognisable as a symbol for happiness – and of course our round Smileys lend themselves to shaped products! 😉
