Smiley has been showcasing its best-in-class licensee products in front of the leading industry decision makers as well as launching to the trade its complete brand extension program for Rubik’s.
By expanding its presence at category specific trade shows throughout its anniversary year in 2017, the brand will tell the story of how it pioneered the emojicon trend, and became the market leading cross category lifestyle brand for, products using expressive icons. In the 20 years since the launch of SmileyWorld, the brand has sold billions of units, launched tens of thousands of products and achieved sales in excess of 1 billion Euros across 13 categories throughout the world.
This worldwide road show kicked off this week at Spielwarenmesse in Nürnberg, where Smiley presented exciting new products from some of the biggest names in the licensing industry including; Amscan, Biscuiterie L’Abbaye, Claire’s, Giraudi, Dragon d’Or, Lannoo, Lutti, Pelikan Herlitz, L’Abeille, Orchestra, Scholastic, and TV Mania.
At the same time The Smiley Company are showing their exciting new vision for the world’s best-selling toy, Rubik’s brand, with product lines launching from; BioWorld (apparel), Fantasma (Rubik’s magic), Hemma (children’s books), The Lagoon Group (gifts and publishing), Paladone (novelty gifts), Stylus (stationary and novelties), as well as showcasing the new toy categories it is currently developing. These new ranges include baby and preschool, wood, plush, electronics, outdoor, construction, table top puzzles, arts & crafts and trading cards.
The Smiley Company will be exhibiting in Hall: Mitte, stand C09 at Spielwarenmesse in Nürnberg until 6th February 2017.
