Smiley Originals the premium and limited edition range launched last year by Smiley, continues to go from strength to strength. The range which specialises in prestigious collaborations with some of the world’s most innovative designers, whilst celebrating the creative, unique, individual and inspirational designs aimed at making the world a happier place.
Smiley Originals first collections launched into one of Europe’s leading kids retailers Children’s Salon and featured a range of sporty styles and summer separates for kids. The sell out was excellent and acted as a great teaser to the market to gauge the appetite for a new Smiley line.
The next launch from Smiley Originals was with high-end knitwear specialists Olivier Baby, who created a range for kids in a variety of fresh colours all made from 100% cashmere wool. Designed for babies and kids up to the age of 12, the apparel separates have been individually hand made and stitched for both boys and girls.
Finally Smiley Originals has branched into footwear with a co-creation with footwear expert Patrick Genestier, who fuses subtle Smiley detailing with on-trend colour ways and high quality fabrics, to create an exciting and stylish footwear collection that features signature sneakers through to sliders and flip-flops for SS18.
The idea behind Smiley Originals was to create a brand that could give Smiley exposure in some of the world’s leading retail boutiques and showcase the creative side of Smiley to the premium market and reflects the essence of Smiley as an original brand, and this is why it has been called Smiley Originals.
